Where the Passion Begins
Co-Founder, Social Worker
Rebecca is one of the founding members at Thera-Pony CIC. She is responsible for planning and facilitating the activities, intake of client's, and appointment bookings for all equine assisted learning programmes and clients. Rebecca has qualifications in equine studies and has worked on many yards over the years as well as owning and running her own childcare service where she specialised in the care of children with social & emotional difficulties. It was a combination of the two that led Rebecca onto her undergraduate course at Abertay University where she has gained a BSc (Hons) in Psychology & Counselling and a MSc Social Work.
Co-Founder, Pony-Therapy facilitator & Group Work Practitioner
Jenna is co-founder here at Thera-Pony and is one of the centres group-work practitioners, delivering activities to clients on and off the yard through our very popular Pony-Therapy visits. She shares a background in equitation having worked with horses from a young age from helping out at the riding school where it all started - to working on many yards across the Tayside area. Jenna also has experience and knowledge in childcare, previously working as a nanny and has extensive customer service and personal support experience from years in managerial positions.
Equine Facilitated Learning Practitioner
Amber is one of the practitioners here at Thera-Pony. She has recently joined the team and is in the process of setting up her client base. As a practitioner, Amber is responsible for customer relations, planning and facilitating activities, and regular yard management tasks. With a background in education and a BA in Child and Youth Studies, Amber is now working on her honours degree proving to be a valuable part of the Thera-Pony family.
