Job Description

The Thera-Patch is our wellness garden - it is still in its infancy and is still being built and created by our handy volunteer Gavin. We are now at the stage where we require a helping hand to oversee the planting and growing of vegetables and flowers.

Thera-Patch is quickly becoming a core activity for the young people who attend the centre, and everyone is encouraged to get involved with Thera-Patch to learn about the benefits of horticulture, learn about healthy eating, sustainability and nature, and we are hoping a keen, green fingered individual will be willing to lend a hand with this.

The applicant

This position is for a volunteer post. Ideally, It would suit someone local or willing to travel to the farm (we are on the no 16 bus route). The candidate will set their own time based on their availability and will have the freedom, within reason,  to make the Thera-Patch a success. We do not expect the applicant to be involved with any session delivery.
